About Scott German

Scott serves as Chief Distribution Officer of LiveAmerica.  In this role, he is responsible for market expansion as well as providing distribution support to the Managing Partnership of LiveAmerica.

In addition, Scott is a Managing Partner at AlSol Brokerage where he is growing a team of independent professionals across the country, dedicated to introducing alternative solutions to clients in the form of living benefit life insurance and lifetime income annuity products.

Prior to LiveAmerica, Scott opened AlSol Brokerage in January of 2014 after spending 16 years at AIG AGLA where he held positions as General Manager, Regional Vice President, Senior Vice President, Marketing Administration, Senior Vice President-Sales, Senior Vice President, AGLA Classic Career Distribution and Senior Vice President & Chief Distribution Officer.

Before joining AIG, Scott spent 10 years at Prudential Insurance Company of America where he held positions as a Sales Representative/Registered Rep, Associate Manager, Director of Agency Training, Assistant to Vice President-Regional Marketing, and General Manager.

Scott brings more than 28 years of career, career like and independent agency building experience supporting the insurance and retirement income needs of America’s broad middle market.

Background and Industry Service

Scott is active in the industry as a member of National Association of Insurance Financial Advisors (NAIFA) since 1988; a member of GAMA since 1992; President of Auburn Association of Life Underwriters 1996-1997; and a Leadership and Management Program (LAMP) session speaker.  He earned his B.S., Business Administration from Syracuse University, 1980.  In addition, he holds an LUTCF and CLF designation.
